過去簡單式 ─ 陳述過去發生的事件、狀態或習慣
I shipped the requested sample products to the buyer two days ago.

未來簡單式 ─ 表示對未來的推測或意向
I will do my best to win the tennis competition.
Brenda is going to visit her sister in Boston tomorrow.
We are having lunch with Dan on Wednesday.

When the writer will finish finishes his work, it will be sent to the editor immediately.
現在進行式 ─ 表示現在或現階段正在進行的動作
She is talking on the phone at the moment.
Food Delight Magazine is currently accepting applications for the chief editor position.
過去進行式 ─ 表示過去某特定時間點時正在進行的動作
I was watching TV at 8 o’clock last night.
I was studying when you called.
未來進行式 ─ 表示未來某特定時間點時正在進行的動作
I will be traveling to Paris by this time next Monday.
✔ 表達情感、狀態的動詞不用於進行式
surprise, shock, hate, prefer, want, believe, include, need, know, exist, etc
現在完成式 ─ 表示
- 從過去開始發生，一直持續到現在的動作
- 發生於過去，但影響持續到現在的事件
- 經驗
GDX Technologies has provided innovative products for a decade.
The assistant has lost the document.
Jerry has never eaten Thai food.
✔ 表示「持續」時，常和for/since一起出現；表示「完成」時，常和already/just連用；表示「經驗」時，常和ever, never, yet連用
過去完成式 ─ 表示過去特定時間前已經發生或完成的動作
When I arrived at the station, the train had already left.
I had completed the test when the bell rang.
未來完成式─表示未來特定時間之前會完成的動作
Jim will have lived in this house for 10 years by next month.
現在完成進行式─表示從過去開始發生，一直持續到現在的動作，但更加強調持續長度、進行中、最近性的概念
They have been talking for the last 30 minutes. (說話者認為30分鐘非常長)
They have talked for the last 30 minutes. (沒有30分鐘很長的含意)
We have been waiting here for over two hours! (還在持續等待中)
We have waited here for over two hours! (已經等到了)
Have you been exercising lately?
Recently, I have been feeling really tired.
